Sarah was a business consultant turned elementary teacher then nonprofit director serving the mission of philanthropy and entrepreneurship in education. After almost 6 years, she’s back in the classroom as a HS Business Teacher! During her first 10 years teaching, she took a couple breaks to become a PSIA certified ski instructor, ran summer camp programs for horsemanship and teens, and taught outdoor education. Her passion for reimagining education led her to become a board director for InnEdCO. Relevant accolades include Making IT Happen award 2015, Presenter at ISTE 2016, Ignite Talk at ISTELive20, two presentations at ISTELive21 and presenter at ISTE 2024. She lives in Fort Collins with her husband and fur babies, and loves spending time with her nephews, niece and the rest of the extended family who migrated from the Midwest as well.
