About me
As a former computer engineer, I have always believed we learn best when we learn actively, creatively, and authentically. This philosophy drew me to teach at Compass Community Collaborative School, a small project-based charter school that serves students in grades 6-12. Through our advisory and venture programs, we strive to make the school day feel like extracurriculars every day. We want students to feel empowered, engaged, and connected with their community.
I have recently started cosplaying and going to comic-cons, and it's given me a wonderful way to connect with students and teach STEM in a way that connects with the unlikeliest audiences. I'd love to connect with you too, as we learn best together.
