About me
Tanisha Lee is a dedicated educator in her eighth year of teaching, now guiding 7th-grade ELA students at Drake Middle School. Originally from Lakewood, Colorado, Tanisha is a proud product of Jeffco, having attended Bear Creek High School. She holds two Master’s degrees—one in Teaching and Learning and another in Literacy Education from the University of Northern Colorado. After seven years of teaching at the elementary level, she recently made the leap to middle school, bringing her passion for fostering reading joy and comprehension to her new role. As an active member of CCIRA, a Colorado Literacy Association, she contributes to organizing and marketing Colorado’s largest annual literacy conference. Tanisha is also eager to explore innovative tools, including AI, to streamline teaching and share her insights with colleagues.
