About me
I have been teaching for over 10 years, with the majority of my experience coming from the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado. I am passionate about engaging students to transform them into life-long learners. I, myself, have an atypical educational background. I graduated from Jefferson County Open School which is an alternative school in Lakewood, Colorado. This experience formed my philosophy of education early on, and I find that it guides me even today in my instructional decisions.
